Jennifer Coffey Headshot Black and White SmallHaving an extensive theatrical/dance background, nothing is too grand for this gal! My performing arts career began at the age of 3 when I entered the world of dance as a tiny ballerina with my pink tutu and tiara. 15 years later, I had gained ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and creative movement training as a dancer. Along with the wonderful world of dance, I was introduced to theater early in high school and continued to obtain stage performance and production experience at Salinas High School, Monterey High School, Salinas Performing Arts, Dance Kids of Monterey Bay, Shall We Dance Studio in Pacific Grove, Monterey Peninsula College and Saddleback College in Orange County. I spent 10 exciting years after high school working for both Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood in the Entertainment Department, performing in shows, stunts, and even portraying the beloved character "Lucy" from the classic television series "I Love Lucy." as well as years of stage performance and production at Monterey Peninsula College and Saddleback College. Shortly after my theme park tenure, I journeyed to Milwaukee as a Professional Ballroom Dance Instructor for Fred Astaire Dance Studios. It was there that I realized my deep devotion for fitness through the physically-demanding techniques required in ballroom dance. I have since incorporated entertaining, fun-filled approaches to physical activity and overall well-being into my personal training/group fitness instructor career, but my heart ultimately lies in the theater. Theater arts provides an escape from the strenuous, and mundane aspects of life, and gives the opportunity for artistic and emotional expression by transforming into a completely different character. My artistic philosophy is to accept yourself for everything that you are, never be afraid to challenge yourself, step outside of your comfort zone and try something new... you may end up falling in love with it, and in turn, fall in love with yourself! Don't just dare to dream... dream BIG!
