Theatre Acting and Improv
Fall Session Begins September 4th!
Acting One: The practice of acting techniques and exercises focusing on volume and diction, breathing, posture, stage movement and positioning, gestures and listening. Practice of character interpretation and expression with improvisation, selected scenes and monologues.
Musical Theatre Acting: The practice of acting techniques specific to performing in a Broadway STYLE musical. Focus will be on acting, but proper singing techniques in singing and movement will also be included. Students will practice and perform solos and group numbers. Dance or heavy movement will not be emphasized in this course.
