This is a 5 week session commitment.
MTC Mini Musical series is designed for aspiring young actors interested in a short musical theatre experience. Mini Musicals are a culmination of a condensed children's book reworked with song and dance designed to enable each actor to learn what it takes to be on stage. It's fast paced and a lot of fun for everyone. The first rehearsal of each session will include a simple audition process to enable the director to assign parts for the selected musical. There will be a short parent meeting at the end of the first rehearsal to discuss the mini musical process and hand out costume information. Each parent is asked to put together a simple costume for their child for the performance. All costumes need to be completed by the fourth week of the session. The mini musical performance will be at 7pm on the final rehearsal day . Performance tickets are $8. Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the front desk. The fifth week of each session requires an extended rehearsal to prepare for the performance. 4pm-6:15pm rehearsal – 6:15pm dinner break at studio (parents are asked to bring a light dinner for their child) - 6:45pm students to get into costumes (parent help is greatly appreciated) - 7pm performance.
Ages
